This large chest of drawers is likely dated to the interwar period of the 1920s to 1930s. All eight solid pine, dove-tailed drawers are deep and lockable, with six keys available. The drawers come with original brass knobs and the carcass is thick wooden ply. It is an incredibly solid piece that has been paint washed throughout, giving it a "modern rustic" or "European farmhouse" aesthetic. Internally, the drawers have been cleaned, sanded and refinished with furniture salve to bring back their lustre.
