It needed an incredible amount of structural work, from replacing drawer runners and stops, to sanding down the doors and adding magnets so they would stay closed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI sanded down the top of the cabinet to remove all the filler that was added over the years (and previously painted) to reveal beautiful wood grain, ready to be re-stained and sealed. Previous wall paper was removed from the doors and the wood sanded down, ready to be painted. We had a copy professionally printed and fit to size, so it fit seamlessly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo prep the piece, I cut out the back to allow for plumbing, applied filler in places, sanded to a smooth finish and primed with Blockade. The outside was painted in Fusion Mineral Paint's 'Damask' with the inside painted in Farrow and Ball's 'Arsenic' to match her bathroom wall paint.
